Tournaments

Every event gets a public page with details, a countdown, and — while its status is registration — a live signup form. Entrants are deduped by gamertag and capped automatically.

Discord verification

Signups are checked against the DMT Discord as they come in.
Verified entrants get a check mark on the entrant wall and in the admin table. Unverified ones are flagged, never blocked — nobody is turned away by a bad handle match.

Brackets

1

Open registration

Set the event’s status to registration and the signup form goes live.
2

Create bracket

One button in the admin event panel builds the tournament on Challonge and seeds it with everyone who signed up.
3

Report scores on Challonge

The embed on the event page updates itself. You don’t re-enter anything.

Duo entry

For events where players enter in pairs, turn on duo entry — one person registers both players’ details in a single submission, rather than coordinating two separate signups and hoping they match.

Editing and cancelling

Events can be edited or cancelled after the fact. Dates move and formats change; the entrant list survives an edit.

Scrims

The scrim schedule and the win/loss record on the public site are both configured at /admin/scrims. Set up a scrim without needing Discord at all, and log the result afterwards.
This is not the Scrim Bot. Booking scrims through Discord threads, signups, and rules cards is a separate bot with its own handbook. This page covers the website’s scrim schedule and record. The two don’t overlap.
