Players tell the bot when they can play, once, and it feeds everything downstream: who to field, who to call in, and who to stop asking.

What players run

one weekday at a time
day:Wed from:6pm to:11pm. Set timezone: once and it sticks to their profile.
a single date
Overrides the weekly pattern for one day. Exams, holidays, a late shift.
read it back
Their own week, privately.
start over
Wipes the weekly schedule.
Times are forgiving: 6pm, 6:30 PM, and 18:30 all work.
A player’s schedule covers every division they play in. They submit it once, not once per team.

Timezones

Windows are stored in each player’s own timezone, so an org spanning NA and EU compares correctly, and daylight saving is handled without anyone re-entering anything.
A player in New York who says “Wednesdays, 6–11pm” means their 6pm, in whichever offset is current that week. Nobody does the conversion by hand and nothing goes stale in March or November.

What staff see

/roster availability division:SNP-M — every player’s week at a glance, with a check mark on the days they have a window. The same grid appears on /admin/roster.

The number worth chasing

“Unavailable” and “never told us” are different things. Players with no schedule on file are reported separately everywhere, never folded in as busy. The dashboard counts them for you. Chase that number — a blank schedule is the one thing that quietly makes every other tool less useful.
Availability feeds directly into lineups, which is where you’ll feel the gap if people haven’t filled it in.
