A player’s tier says where they sit on the ladder. Their status says
how they’re doing.
| Status | Meaning | In lineups? |
|---|---|---|
| Active | Playing. | Yes |
| Trial | On a trial with a review date. | Yes |
| Substitute | Available to fill in. | Yes, as a sub |
| Benched | On the roster, not playing. | Yes, if you ask |
| Leave of absence | Away. | Never suggested |
| Inactive | Dormant, still on the books. | Never suggested |
| Suspended | Barred. | Refused |
| Released | Off the roster. | Refused |
Released keeps the profile and the full history. It removes the membership,
not the person’s record.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Applied | Submitted, not yet looked at. |
| Screening | Being read through. |
| Approved for tryout | Cleared to actually try out. |
| Scheduled | A time is set. |
| In evaluation | At least one score is in. |
| Passed | Moved onto the trial tier. |
| Waitlisted | Good, but no room right now. |
| Failed | Declined. |
| Withdrawn | They pulled out. |
| Expired | Went stale without a decision. |
Recording a score moves an application straight to in evaluation, even
if the earlier admin steps were skipped. Scoring someone is proof the
tryout happened.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Active trial | Running. Review date in the future. |
| Review due | The date has arrived. Staff have been reminded once. |
| Extended | Review pushed out. |
| Passed | Promoted to the destination tier. |
| Failed | Trial ended. |
| Withdrawn | They stepped away. |
Review due is a prompt, not an outcome. Nothing changes until somebody
runs
/tryout trial.| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Being built. Add and remove freely. |
| Confirmed | Locked in. Slots marked confirmed. |
| Played | Finished and frozen. Feeds substitute counts. |
| Cancelled | Called off. Counts toward nothing. |
| Slot status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Proposed | Pencilled in. |
| Confirmed | Set, once the lineup is confirmed. |
| Declined | They said no. |
| Played | They played. |
| No-show | They didn’t turn up. |
A played lineup can’t be edited. That’s deliberate — the record of who
played is worth more than the convenience of tweaking it after the fact.
