# Teams & access

> Three team options, two roles behind each, and the two rules that trip people up.

There are three team options, and two roles sit behind each one.

<CardGroup cols={3}>
  <Card title="FSC" icon="circle" horizontal>
    **Button** — FSC Scrim

    **Plays** — FSC roster role

    **Runs** — FSC lead role
  </Card>

  <Card title="MSC" icon="circle" horizontal>
    **Button** — MSC Scrim

    **Plays** — MSC roster role

    **Runs** — MSC lead role
  </Card>

  <Card title="Co-Ed" icon="circle" horizontal>
    **Button** — Co-Ed Scrim

    **Plays** — Either roster role

    **Runs** — Either team's leads
  </Card>
</CardGroup>

## Two rules worth remembering

<Check>
  **Co-Ed draws from both rosters, and one role is enough.** An FSC player can
  join a Co-Ed scrim without holding the MSC role.
</Check>

<Check>
  **Leads are scoped to their own team.** An FSC lead can run FSC and Co-Ed
  scrims but not MSC ones. Holding the server-wide lead role runs everything, and
  admins always can.
</Check>

## Roster is not lead

<Warning>
  Being on a roster does **not** make you a lead. Those are deliberately separate
  roles — playing for a team and running its scrims are different jobs.
</Warning>
