# For players

> Booking a scrim, and claiming a spot on the roster for one.

## Booking a scrim

Go to the scrim panel and press the button for the team you want —
**FSC Scrim**, **MSC Scrim**, or **Co-Ed Scrim**. That's the whole job.

The bot opens a private thread and pulls in the right leads, and you sort out
the date, opponent, and mode with them there.

<Tip>
  The panel lists each team alongside the role that plays for it, so you can tell
  which button is yours before you press anything.
</Tip>

## Signing up for a scrim

When a lead opens signups, a panel appears with three controls.

<ResponseField name="Join Scrim" type="take a spot">
  Takes a roster spot. If the scrim is full you go to the waitlist instead.
</ResponseField>

<ResponseField name="Leave Scrim" type="give it up">
  Frees your spot — the first waitlisted player is promoted automatically.
</ResponseField>

<ResponseField name="View Roster" type="check who's in">
  Shows who's signed up. Only you see it.
</ResponseField>

<Check>
  The waitlist runs itself. If someone drops out, the next person in line is
  promoted without anyone having to notice.
</Check>

## Who can join

<Note>
  Every signup panel carries a **Who Can Join** line, so you never have to guess.

  On a **Co-Ed** scrim, being on *either* the FSC or MSC roster is enough — you
  do not need both roles.
</Note>
